The fashion industry hasn’t exactly set this year’s Time 100 compilation of the world’s most influential people alight, although there are nods for the founder of Spanx Sara Blakely and Alexander McQueen creative director Sarah Burton — who joins an elite group of designers such as Tom Ford and Marc Jacobs to have previously featured in the list.
